By accessing our website, submitting a contact or quote form, or confirming a booking with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. About our services

Malnad Enterprises supplies rental equipment and event setup services for corporate functions, weddings, social gatherings, and other occasions. Service descriptions, images, and pricing on our website are for general information. Final scope, inventory, delivery timelines, and charges are confirmed only in a written quotation or booking confirmation agreed between you and us.

2. Website use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it or interfere with others’ use.
  • Attempt unauthorised access to our systems, data, or accounts.
  • Copy, scrape, or republish content (including text, images, and branding) without our written permission.
  • Submit false, misleading, or abusive enquiries through our forms.

We may update, suspend, or withdraw any part of the website at any time without notice. Content is provided for general guidance and may change without prior notice.

3. Enquiries, quotes, and bookings

  • Submitting a contact or quote request does not create a binding contract until we confirm availability and you accept our quotation in writing (including email or WhatsApp confirmation where applicable).
  • You are responsible for providing accurate event details — date, venue, access instructions, power availability, and special requirements.
  • We reserve the right to decline any enquiry at our discretion, including where venue access, safety, or logistics are not feasible.

4. Pricing and payment

  • Quoted prices are valid for the period stated on the quotation. Prices may vary based on inventory, season, distance, labour, and site conditions.
  • A deposit or advance payment may be required to confirm a booking. The balance is due as specified in your booking confirmation.
  • Applicable taxes, permits, parking, or venue charges imposed by third parties are your responsibility unless explicitly included in our quote.
  • Late or non-payment may result in cancellation of services and forfeiture of deposits, as stated in your booking confirmation.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling terms are set out in your booking confirmation. In general:

  • Cancellations made well in advance may be eligible for a partial refund of amounts paid, minus administrative costs, as agreed in writing.
  • Cancellations close to the event date may result in forfeiture of deposits or full charges for reserved inventory and labour.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional charges for transport, labour, or reallocation of stock.

If we must cancel due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a fair refund of amounts paid for undelivered services, where applicable.

6. Delivery, setup, and site responsibilities

  • You must ensure safe and timely access to the venue for delivery, setup, and dismantling, including clear paths, parking, and any permissions required from the venue owner or authorities.
  • You are responsible for a suitable, level surface for tents and furniture, and for informing us of underground utilities, obstructions, or hazards.
  • Setup and dismantling times depend on scope and site conditions. Delays caused by the client, venue, or weather may incur additional labour charges.
  • Our team will follow reasonable safety practices. You must keep guests away from active setup areas and follow any on-site instructions from our staff.

7. Care of rental items and damage

Rented items remain the property of Malnad Enterprises at all times. You are responsible for the care and security of items from delivery until collection, except for normal wear from approved use.

  • Loss, theft, damage beyond normal wear, or failure to return items on time may result in repair or replacement charges at our discretion.
  • Modifications, relocations, or dismantling of rented structures by anyone other than our authorised staff are not permitted without prior written approval.
  • We are not liable for damage caused by misuse, overcrowding, adverse weather beyond agreed specifications, or acts of third parties at the event.

8. Weather and force majeure

Outdoor events carry inherent weather risks. Waterproof and structural solutions are provided as quoted; we are not liable for event disruption caused by extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or other events outside our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to assist with rescheduling or mitigation where possible.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Our website and materials are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except where such exclusions are not permitted by law.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses (including loss of profit, goodwill, or event revenue) arising from use of the website or our services.
  • Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including logos, text, photographs, and design — is owned by or licensed to Malnad Enterprises and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce or use our branding without prior written consent.

12. Governing law and disputes
